As one of the true last Mom and Pop restaurants in Berks County, the Pike Café has been under the ownership of Michael Pullano since 1985. The Pike Café, which at one time was a pretzel store, a bakery, and then a corner bar in the 1940’s, has been transformed over the years by Michael into an amazing stand-out, locally owned restaurant and sport’s café. We are known county-wide (& beyond) as the local place to go for great food, friends, cocktails, and sports in an ever-increasing chain restaurant era.

After buying buildings all around the original Pike Café and tearing down a factory across the street, (Mary McIntosh for those that might remember), the Pike has our own 100-space, well-lit and monitored parking area just for you. We also have handicapped parking & access and we’ve grown into a restaurant spanning half the city block!! People always say they never expected what was inside the Pike Café when they come in their first time! Michael said if you build it they will come, and you have!

What was once a corner bar with steam tables serving lunch along with Dutch platters and deviled eggs, the Pike became the location of Berks County’s first Wing Night. That popularity from our first restaurant customer’s encouraged us to grow into the bar and restaurant that we are today, serving everything from nachos, Pike fries, daily homemade soups, sandwiches, to filet mignon, crab cakes, & seafood and pasta specialties made daily. And the chef’s daily features are a must-try! No one leaves here hungry! And we are still the favorite in Berks for wings!

You’ll be seen here with the best at the Pike for lunch, Happy Hour, dinner, or late night dining. We like to call it fine dining in a casual atmosphere. And there’s no skimping on portions!!

With 40 flat screen satellite TV’s showing every sports package and WiFi, what better place to come to watch your favorite team, playoff, or championship game. We are also the area’s favorite spot to dine or have drinks before or after a show or a game at one of our fine city venues.
